"The sea is everything. It covers seven tenths of the terrestrial globe. Its breath is pure and healthy. It is an immense desert, where man is never lonely, for he feels life stirring on all sides."
In 2027, this year, we embrace the word.

In April 2026, the World Robot Skills Competition was officially unveiled and inaugurated during the 3rd Humanoid Robot Ecosystem Conference. Co-initiated by four authoritative industrial institutions from Asia, Europe and America, namely China Robot Network, Silicon Valley Robotics Association (USA), Korea Robotics Association and Czech Robotics Exchange Center, the competition’s operational entity is legally registered in San Jose, California, the heart of Silicon Valley, forming an international operating framework spanning Asia, Europe and North America.
Rooted in the cutting-edge landscape of the global robotics industry, the competition focuses on forward-looking technical tracks including intelligent manufacturing, humanoid robots and special-purpose robots. It strives to build a professional, international and world-class robotics competition platform and develop a benchmark global IP for high-standard robotics skill contests. Centered on empowering scientific innovation via competitions and connecting industrial resources through events, the competition brings together global research institutes, leading enterprises, university R&D teams and top industry professionals. Featuring hands-on contests, technical exchanges and achievement exhibitions, it integrates technology commercialization, talent cultivation and industrial matchmaking into one complete ecosystem. The event consistently facilitates deep industry-university-research collaboration worldwide, drives iterative breakthroughs in advanced robotics technologies, and fuels high-quality innovative growth across the global robotics sector.
